A Glimpse of Our Family

We are Sape & Sarah. We are excited to introduce ourselves to you and hope this blog will be a window into our lives and the love we are patiently waiting to give a child. Thank you for taking the time to read about us and we appreciate your consideration for adoption. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via Facebook or this blog. We'd be happy to exchange contact information in due time.

Sape (pronounced Sah-pay) and I "officially" met while attending the University of Utah in 1998. We were married in the Laie, Hawaii LDS temple in 2001. As newlyweds, we planned to have both biological and adopted children, but as the years of trying to conceive are passing, we have embraced the option to adopt.

Adoption is not new for us. Sape's biological mother gave birth to him at the age of 12 and he was adopted out to family. We are grateful for the love and sacrifice of both his biological and adopted parents. They have all played an important role in creating and culturing the man Sape is today. He has always felt the love of his parents and desires to become a loving parent to an adoptive child.

We are a couple who enjoys time spent with each other, family, and friends. We have traveled internationally to Samoa, Japan, and Germany. We've traveled to most of the States and look forward to doing a U.S.A road trip someday as a family. Although we love traveling and sightseeing, some of our favorite past times are simply being together at home (playing board games, watching movies, or cleaning the house/yard).
